Still workin'!
Bula Vinaka!
It's been a pretty eventful week for us! We were in Suva from Monday-Thursday! We took a plane out of Kadavu on Monday night. We stayed there for a couple days, then got back on a boat that left on Wednesday night and got back to Kadavu on Thursday afternoon. Then got right back to work! Way great week.
We went to Suva this week for Zone Conference, a meeting with our Mission President and about 20 other missionaries. He taught us about making our prayers more meaningful, and it was awesome. It changed my perspective on prayer. I invite you to take a look at your prayers as well, and make them more meaningful! That meeting was on Tuesday. Then we had a DIFFERENT meeting on Wednesday called Zone Training Meeting, but that was just with the AP's. Normally these meetings are spread out but because we're by ourselves on Kadavu... We get to cram it all in every 3 months. But wait, the crowning highlight to the trip..... WE GOT TO EAT AT MCDONALD'S!! There are 3 McDonalds in Fiji. It was awesome!! You have no idea how much I miss some good ol' burgers and fries. It was delicious. Expensive, but worth it.
When we got back to Kadavu, we were both given a renewed sense of motivation to work as hard as we can in the area. We told ourselves that we wouldn't hesitate to invite people to be baptized. We had 2 people tell us they'd be baptized! Hopefully they'll start really getting ready for that! We've been seeing miracles in our area. As we work our hardest and ask Heavenly Father to help us fulfill our goals each week, things have been going more our way! There is NO work more fulfilling than the work of the Lord.
